Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer® Sk8 or Scoot Summer 5K

Lace up your skates, blades, or scooter for a fun evening supporting cancer research! Participants complete 20 laps around The Ribbon, a scenic skating trail at Glass City Metropark featuring gentle hills and smooth curves. You can bring your own equipment or take advantage of included rental options at no extra charge. Registration is $35 and includes an event t-shirt. All proceeds go toward innovative cancer research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and Nationwide Children's Hospital – Toledo. This is a great way for families to get moving together while honoring those affected by cancer. Whether your kids are experienced skaters or just getting started, the manageable course lets everyone participate at their own pace.
