Copyright & Takedown Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

Fill Your Days respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects

our users to do the same. This policy explains how to report material on

fillyourdays.com (the "Service") that you believe infringes your copyright,

and how someone affected by a removal can respond. We comply with the U.S.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. ยง 512.

What we publish

Fill Your Days aggregates factual event information (dates, times, venues,

prices, age ranges) from public sources and official APIs, and presents it with

newly written, AI-generated descriptions โ€” we do not copy source prose. Some

listings, photos, or tips are submitted by users of the Service. If you believe

any specific material on the Service infringes a copyright you own or control โ€”

most commonly a photograph โ€” you can ask us to remove it using the procedure

below, and we will respond promptly.

How to file a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our Designated Agent (below) that includes all of

the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(c)(3):

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person

authorized to act on their behalf.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if

multiple works, a representative list).

3. Identification of the infringing material and enough information for us to

locate it โ€” please include the exact URL(s) on fillyourdays.com.

4. Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and

email address.

5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not

authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your

notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on

their behalf.

We will remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid

notice and will make a good-faith effort to notify the person who posted it.

Notices that omit any of the six required elements may not be valid.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or

misidentification, you may send our Designated Agent a written counter-notice

that includes, per 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(g):

1. Your signature (physical or electronic).

2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it

appeared before removal.

3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief

the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent

to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which

your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in

which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the

party who filed the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in

10โ€“14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have

filed a court action to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we will **disable or

terminate accounts** of users who are repeat copyright infringers.

Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents

that material is infringing โ€” or was removed by mistake โ€” may be liable for

damages. Please be sure your claim is valid before sending a notice or

counter-notice.
