Ritter Planetarium: "Firefall"

Ritter Planetarium: "Firefall"

Immersive planetarium show 'Firefall' at University of Toledo.

Journey through the cosmos and discover how asteroids and comets have shaped Earth's story. During this immersive full-dome show, you'll explore the dramatic history of space impacts—from brilliant meteors streaking across the sky to massive boulders that pass near our planet. While these cosmic visitors can be destructive, they've also brought water and the building blocks of life to our world. It's a fascinating look at our connection to the universe and our origins in space. Your evening includes a guided tour of the Toledo night sky where you'll spot constellations and visible planets, the full-dome presentation, and an open Q&A session with an astronomer. Weather permitting, you'll also head to Brooks Observatory to view the night sky through telescopes. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children, seniors, and university community members (children 3 and under are free). Arrive early to explore the lobby displays—doors open 30 minutes before showtime. No advance reservations needed; it's first-come, first-served.
