Late Night at the Rec at Bowling Green State University
Bowling Green State University is opening up the Recreation Center for an evening of exploration and activity. Students can wander through different areas of the facility, try out the climbing wall, swim in the pool, or hit the open gym. Two group exercise classes are scheduled during the event—an Express Cycle class and a Stretch & Relax session—so visitors can sample what fitness programming looks like throughout the year. Yard games, table tennis, weight room access, and intramural sports demonstrations round out the physical activities on offer.
Beyond exercise, there's plenty to do and enjoy. PAWS Therapy dogs will be available to visit with, and attendees can grab a complimentary smoothie or relax in the Well-Being Room's massage chairs. Free crafts and giveaways are available, plus the Office of Health and Wellness will have information on hand. No registration is required—just show up with your BGSU ID. This works well for both newcomers and returning students who want to reconnect with campus resources and meet others in a low-pressure setting.
