Kids' Crafternoon

Afternoon crafts for kids at Waterville Library.

Looking for a relaxed afternoon activity? Kids' Crafternoon invites children to drop by the library and make as much or as little as they'd like. The library provides all the craft supplies—your child just needs to bring their creativity. Whether they want to complete one project or try several different ones, there's no pressure or rigid schedule. It's a casual, self-directed experience perfect for kids who enjoy hands-on making. This program is geared toward children ages 6 through 10 and runs for a two-hour window, giving families flexibility to stop in whenever works best for them. Since it's a drop-in format, no registration is required. The event takes place in the library's Meeting Room B, which is accessible and can accommodate groups comfortably. It's a great way to spend an afternoon indoors during summer while letting your child's imagination lead the way.
