Chess Night

Flip the Table is hosting Chess Night in partnership with Pawnstormers, a local chess community. Whether your family includes seasoned players or newcomers curious about the game, this event welcomes chess enthusiasts of all experience levels. The evening features a three-round, rated Swiss tournament—a format that pairs players fairly regardless of skill level, so no previous tournament experience is necessary. Chess sets will be provided, though you'll want to bring your own clock. To participate, you'll need a U.S. Chess Federation membership. Advance registration is strongly encouraged, and cash prizes will be awarded to top finishers in the highest section.
